Too bad I don’t drink coffee….

Last year it was Manic Mondays. This semester its Trying Tuesdays. Or Tired Tuesdays. Or Tuckered Tuesdays.

My day begins well before the sun is up, getting ready for my practicum. After a full morning of testing students, meeting with teachers and families, supervision, and tracking down that one kid who always forgets to meet with me for counseling, it’s a quick break for lunch and a dog walk, and then off to class. Class lets out at 9:00 (long after the Massachusetts School Psychology Association members have gone home) – nearly my bedtime on a normal day. Only 14 more Tuesdays to go – but who’s counting?

About shansenmspp

I am a second-year school psychology student. I completed my undergraduate degree at Macalester College, with majors in Sociology and Spanish. In addition, I have a master's degree in Public Affairs. I have worked as a language teacher in the U.S. and Latin America, and I speak Spanish and some Portuguese. I love reading, yoga, cooking, traveling, and hanging out with good friends. Oh, and playing with my impish rescue pup, Atlas.

  1. You don’t know what you are missing. Never trust someone who doesn’t like coffee, I say.
