It’s coming up on registration time. While there are many great courses offered at MSPP, it can be difficult to fit them in to our busy schedules, working around internship requirements. One option to get around these constraints is to create a directed study.
Students have created directed studies on such topics as play therapy, college counseling, men and masculinity, and Dissociative Identity Disorder. Currently, I am working with other students to study Internal Family Systems Theory (IFS).
Directed studies can be a great way to explore a specific area of interest. Additionally, because they are often taught by outside professors, students get the chance to meet other professionals in the field. A maximum of six students can enroll in a directed study, creating a setting where rich discussions can occur. The opportunities are endless – happy organizing!
Can you explain more what Directed Studies mean? Is it like on-the-job training or internship?
This post is really helpful because which reason you gave in article.I like Directed Studies but please explain more about Directed Studies. Thanks
Learning straight from the professionals in your field is a good idea.

Wow man, Great post!! be looking This looks to be a fantastic project.
As a graduate same as weeolrwf, i agree to look for the feel on the environment. In our university, i feel like in the forest due to lots of trees and green fields, good study ambiance and most specially you meet friends and partners in life. MSPP sounds great as well.
