Final Blog!

I’m sad to say that this will be my last blog here at MSPP. I’ve really enjoyed this experience; it allowed me to vent while also providing prospective students with some important information. I hate to see this experience be over, but it’s time for new bloggers to come and share their experiences!

This week is the last week of classes. The semester should have ended last week, but due to the snow day, I had some makeup days for a few of my classes. It was an easy week, though, since I’ll only had to make up two classes.  Plus I didn’t have my 8:30 am class, which allowed me to sleep in!

All of my finals are done, except for my Lit Review for my clinical seminar class. I plan on completing that today and sending it in.  I wrote it on Interventions for Family Caregivers with Dementia. This is also my possible Doc Project topic, so the research I’ve done will be helpful to me in the long run.

The end of the semester is bittersweet. On one hand it’s nice to have a few days off, but on the other it is stressful anticipating the summer term, which starts May 24th, and registering for fall classes, which happens next week. However, the summer semester only last 6-7 weeks, so summer break is almost here!

Like I said before, I’ve really enjoyed my experience as a student blogger. For anyone interested in the program, please feel free to contact me anytime in the future with questions. Good luck with the end of the semester everyone and enjoy the upcoming summer!
