Fall is the Season for Apple Picking!

In case you are from other parts of the country, one of unique aspects about going to graduate school in the northeast is that you get to experience four very distinct seasons!  As my fellow classmate, Sam Spagnuolo says, “Fall is the best season because you have the crisp air, beautiful fall foliage, apple and pumpkin picking, apple cider donuts, apple and pumpkin pie, and long sleeves without jackets.”  The past two falls that I have lived in Boston I started a new tradition—apple picking.  I went this past weekend with three other MSPP students and had a blast!  It is sometimes these non-academic activities that I will remember the most about my time in grad school because of the close friendships that I have made.
